Inali's July 4th Bash07/04/2008 - 15:00 07/05/2008 - 02:00 Etc/GMT-4 INALI'S JULY 4th BASH! NOTE: THE DATE MAY CHANGE GIVEN WHEN MY TOWN PUTS ON ITS FIREWORK DISPLAY, THIS WILL MOST LIKELY BE ON A SATURDAY. :) Greetings everyone! Again, I will be holding a July 4th party at my home in Frostproof in Polk County. Come on down for a day and night full of fireworks, cook out, games, fishing (bring your own pole, I only have one extra pole), and a good time with friends. Anyone is welcome to attend. :) Enjoy the fireworks on Lake Reedy seen from Frostproof, Avon Park, and Sebring's show, as well as our own fireworks. I live on almost 2 acres of property so there is plenty of room! I imagine I can host 30-35 people or so. WHEN: July 4, 2008 TIME: 3 pm to 2 am WHERE: Frostproof, FL WHY: Why not? :) As always , this gathering will be pot luck. Just a cheap bag of chips or some generic soda will do, no one needs to spend a lot to attend if you're running low on cash. Firework contributions are most appreciated. I will provide the place, tables, condiments, buns, utensils, napkins, paper plates and cups, punch, charcol, the grill, and I'll probably make my famous chocolate cake of death (it's so good you die from joy). Fursuiters are MORE than welcome to attend! Also, if anyone has any volleyballs, badminton, etc, those would be appreciated, as well. I also have a PS2 and GameCube (yayy, I'm so outdated) so people are welcome to play video games if you would like, but I suggest bringing a particular game if you want to play it. I mostly have Sims stuff or other weird games. I do have just a few rules since this is in my home. :) RULES 1. No alcohol. We had a ton of fun last year without booze. My father (fur-friendly and enjoys furry, himself) is a recovering alcoholic. No showing up drunk, either. 2. Please clean up after yourself. I know I'm going to be cleaning for the next few days after the party, but try not to trash my home. Trash cans will be provided. 3. Due to bitching neighbors and an ankle injury last year (ha!), fireworks must be fired correctly as indicated on the box. I was informed that it was not enjoyable for the others at the house when fireworks were shot into the lake, as they had no firework show to watch. Also, please aim carefully. My neighbors were angry that a few fireworks hit their boat house. So basically, no crazy firework stunts. They go boom, are colorful, and explode... they are entertaining on their own. :) If anyone gets injured due to mischief, I will not be held responsible (I'll probably end up with a sprained wrist this time, so no worries ;)... each party usually only has one injury!). 4. Do not feed the dog scraps unless asking me first. Be wary of my cranky cat. Also, please be respectful of my neighbors and don't go on their property. 5. After midnight, please try to keep the noise down to not-a-screaming level. Parties are loud, but again, be respectful of the neighbors after midnight. They are very respectful of me when they have parties, and I want to show them the same courtesy. Laugh out loud, talk amongst yourself, still light off some fireworks, but try not to run around screaming at the top of your lungs. :) POT LUCK SUGGESTIONS Fireworks!!! :) Hamburgers Hot Dogs Potato Salad, Macaroni Salad, Baked Beans Cookies, pies, brownies Chips, crackers, tortilla chips Soda, bottled water, ice Games of any kind Extra fold-out chairs. Please RSVP if you would like to attend. Email me privately and tell me where you are coming from if you need directions. I hope to see you there!
